Dive into an ocean of creativity as you build seashells and sea creatures, create sparkling mermaids, and design your own magical under-the-sea world! 🌊🐚✨
Ages 6-12 years old
Camp Times: Camp runs from 9 am-12 pm. Art Camp is Monday - Friday, with a showcase on the last day at 11:30 am. Families are invited to the 11:30 am showcase to check out all of the amazing artwork!
What we’ll make:
🐚 Mixed Media Diorama: Jump into the fascinating mini-ecosystem of a tide pool or coral reef in this art exploration. From a crusty crab to colorful seaweed, this project allows for ample creative freedom and exploration.
🦀 Fancy Crab: Draw and paint your own colorful crab and play with cool colors, silly shapes and special details that bring your crab to life.
🦀 Merry Mermaid/man: Artists explore the shapes, texture and colors of seashells, starfish and corals to create their own under-the-sea garden. Artists will use print-making techniques, work with model magic and create a magical mermaid to add to their colorful composition.
In the music portion, campers will learn fun vocal techniques, practice group songs, and build stage presence in a supportive, high-energy environment. By the end of the week, they’ll feel confident, creative, and ready to shine.
Missed Classes: Please look at the schedule prior to booking this art experience. Missed classes can not be made-up or refunded. Each lesson builds and connects with the other and we want your child to experience the the full curriculum!
When to arrive: Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled time We will start class promptly at the start time.
What to bring and wear: Wear clothes that can get messy!! We may be using things like acrylic paints that can ruin clothing! We do have smocks available. You may bring a water and a NUT FREE snack.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Full payment is due at the time of enrollment. Payment includes a $100 non-refundable deposit. All cancellations made more than 20 days prior to original booking start date may receive a refund minus the $100 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 20 days of the original booking start date are NON-REFUNDABLE. No shows are NON-REFUNDABLE. If we are able to switch into another date, we can do so with no fees.
Illness: Please do not send your child to class if your child has been experiencing tummy issues, a runny nose, cough or fever. If your child is exhibiting any of these symptoms while at class, we will contact you for pick up. We will try to get your artist caught up on missed materials, but is not guaranteed.
