Over the course of four weeks, students will discover how artists use line, shape, color, texture, form, space, and value. They'll also begin to understand how the principles of design, such as balance, contrast, emphasis, rhythm, and unity.
Our 4-week art program is designed to give young artists a strong foundation in the visual arts by introducing them to the Elements of Art and Principles of Design in an engaging and age-appropriate way. To learn more about the curriculum for session 1, please click here.
WHEN TO ARRIVE: Please arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your scheduled time We will start class promptly at the start time.
What to bring and wear: Wear clothes that can get messy!! We may be using things like acrylic paints that can ruin clothing! We do have smocks available. You may bring a water.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Full payment is due at the time of enrollment. Payment includes a $60 non-refundable deposit. All cancellations made more than 14 days prior to original booking start date may receive a refund minus the $60 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the original booking start date are NON-REFUNDABLE. No shows are NON-REFUNDABLE. If we are able to switch into another date, we can do so with no fees.
*Please do not send your child to class if your child has been experiencing tummy issues, a runny nose, cough or fever. If your child is exhibiting any of these symptoms while at class, we will contact you for pick up. Please see our full studio policy here.
