Looking to host a private group event? You are in the right place!
Each group painting event is custom quoted to your needs. Fill out the interest form at the bottom of the page and we will contact you by email to begin crafting your event. We can do events with canvas painting and many other crafts.
Frequently Asked Questions:
Question: How are group events different from birthday parties? Answer: Group parties and events DO NOT include all of the fun extras our birthday party package includes. Group bookings/party do not have extra studio time, cake table, decorating time, banner, invitation, etc. The structure of time used and space used is different from our birthday parties, and more similar to a canvas painting event. Food is not permitted at group parties, unless pre-arraigned with quote.
Question: How many can you accommodate? Answer: Up to 20 artists, depending on what we are doing. When doing canvas painting only, we can accommodate 20 with older children, teens, and adults. When working with children under 10 the maximum amount of artists would be 15. We are a small studio, so working to the maximum amount of artist does make things tight.
Question: What can we do for a private group painting event? Answer: You can choose from any of the canvas painting events we have scheduled or have done in the past, as long as materials are available to be sourced. You can also look at our idea bank below. If you would like to have a custom theme created, this can be included in the quote, and may charge more.
Question: What does the pricing look like? Answer: Starting at $30 and up per artist mostly depending on activity, materials, time, and time needed. We would need a minimum of 8 artists for a group event/booking.
Question: How long would a group event last? Answer: Each event would be custom, but our typical canvas painting events are an hour and half long.
Question: Can I host an adult event, or is the studio just for kids? Answer: Yes, we can host events for adults!!
Question: Can adults over 21 have alcohol in the studio, like a paint and sip? Answer: At this time no, however, this may change in the very near future. Any event in the future that will have any spirits must be an adult, 21 + only event, each participant will be required to show their ID as proof.
Question: Can I have a group event where everyone has to pay on their own? Answer: Yes! We can create a custom event for you where each participant can pay for their own entry. To book something like this you may be asked for a deposit to host the event and have available and we will need a minimum of 8 participants to run the party.
Question: If I am having a party and someone is not painting, do they still have to pay? Answer: If someone is participating in the activity, yes they will need to pay. Having extra people can be hard with the amount of space we have for the activity. If this applies to you, please note it on the request form below and we will look at individual circumstances for extra people.
Artist-Led Group Party Ideas:
The following ideas create all unique paintings. The instructor is more of a guide. These are low on the stress of making it exactly like an ‘example’ and full of creativity!
Paint your Bestie/Partner - This is where you sit opposite from the other participant and paint them! You do not reveal your painting until everyone is finished or the time is up!
Pass the painting - This is where you start a painting on your canvas for the first ten minutes, then you pass it around in a circle, each participant has 5 minutes to add something to your picture until you get your painting back. This is a great team building memory!
Expressive Color Stories- Artists choose a color palette that reflects their emotions or favorite vibes, and then create a free-form abstract painting using brushes, sponges, and palette knives. Guided by music or prompts, each painting is totally unique.
Dream Big Vision Boards on Canvas- Kids paint a background (sunset, sky, rainbow, etc.) and then layer words, images, and symbols that represent their hopes, goals, and dreams—like a painted vision board
Decoupage & Painting Shells- A fun filled event painting and decoupaging shells!
