Meeting Dates: The dates for session 1 are as follows. Please note that one date falls on a holiday, therefore the class is made up that Friday.

Session 1 Course Details
Week 1: All About Lines!
We'll start by learning about lines, wiggly, straight, curly, zig-zag, and more! Kids will explore lines through drawing games, rainbow line paintings, and tactile materials like yarn and pipe cleaners.
Week 2: Discovering Shapes
Now that we know lines, we'll use them to make shapes! We'll play shape-finding games, create shape creatures with collage materials, and build big shapes using tape and movement on the floor.
Week 3: Color Fun – Primary Colors
This week we’ll meet red, blue, and yellow! Through hands-on mixing, painting, and even some color-themed music and storytelling, children will explore what happens when colors mix and play.
Week 4: Color Fun – Secondary Colors
We’ll use everything we’ve learned to mix our own colors! Children will create colorful abstract masterpieces using painting tools like sponges, brushes, and their hands.
About Mini-Makers
Mini-Makers is a creative class designed just for children ages 4 to 6! In this 1-hour, teacher-led session, young artists will explore the elements of art, like line, color, and shape, through fun, hands-on projects that spark imagination and confidence.
Each week includes a blend of process-based art, sensory exploration, and story-inspired creativity, with a focus on discovery over perfection. Projects are designed to engage early learners while helping them grow fine motor skills, independence, and artistic expression.
This is a drop-off friendly class, although grown-ups are always welcome to stay and observe as their little artists grow and shine.
Please note: All participants must be able to use the restroom independently.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Full payment is due at the time of enrollment. Payment includes a $60 non-refundable deposit. All cancellations made more than 14 days prior to original booking start date may receive a refund minus the $60 non-refundable deposit. Cancellations made within 14 days of the original booking start date are NON-REFUNDABLE. No shows or missed classes are NON-REFUNDABLE.
*Please do not send your child to class if your child has been experiencing tummy issues, a runny nose, cough or fever. If your child is exhibiting any of these symptoms while at class, we will contact you for pick up. Please see our full studio policy here.
